Went out again this morning, the squirrels were every where, shot whole bunches of them. After beans I went out again, there weren't as many out and about but still shot several. It's kind of looking like mornings might be better from now on out. The weeds are getting high too, making it harder to see them.

Went out yesterday late morning with a new fella, Mark, They were out, but not in great numbers. We managed to get a few.

The weeds and cheat grass are really getting high now. Makes it hard to see them, I know they're still out there because I see quite a few run across the road. I can still pick out a few here and there, but not getting them like I was. I think our whistle pig season is winding down around here. Hate to see it, lot's of fun.

Well, the shootin' was a lot better this morning. The weeds are still bad but I was able to find a few spots where they weren't to bad. Managed to get 40 or 50, not bad for a couple hours shooting. Also got a badger, check out badger thread. I don't think the squirrels are going to last much longer, supposed to be 102 deg. this weekend and they'll go down for the rest of the year when it gets hot.

Went out yesterday, Wednesday, morning. Kind of expected to see at least one badger but no luck. Ol' "Deadly Do-right" ruined the day for several whistle pigs though. Using hollow points this time and the really make some spectacular aerial displays. Kind of reminds me of 4th of July fire works displays. LOL! if somebody would have seen me from a distance they would have thought I was an escapee from the banana farm, sitting in the truck laughing to my self.

I was out this morning for a couple hours and got almost 60 in one of my preferred spots. I did think that it's really winding down. The shots are longer and they sure move quicker than a couple of weeks ago. Still, no reason to let anymore go to bed than necessary right?

Right, I'll keep after them as long as there's a few out there. I drove over to Emmett yesterday. I saw several run across the hiway so there's still a few out there.
