The "pigs" were out today but so was the wind. Not like saturday but enough to move .22 l.r. bullets around. I got a few but seemed like I was missing more than I was hitting, couldn't hit in the same spot twice in a row. Enjoyed getting out in the hills for an afternoon anyway. Didn't see another person. Hope it's better wednesday afternoon. Bob

Wasn't to bad today for the wind we had. My "unk", Dave, and I went out after beans and shot whistle pigs for about three hrs. There was lots of them out and about, lots of pups. The other wusses wouldn't go with us. Oh well, their loss! We had fun. Bob

Great day in the whistle pig fields yesterday. It was a little cool and breezy, pretty strong gusts at times but it didn't seem to bother them. The little buggers were everywhere you looked. At times you had to make a dicision which one to shoot first. We shot for almost 4 hrs. in the same general area, didn't move very far. What fun! Can't wait until next time. Bob

You guys are making me jealous. My dance card is filled for a couple weeks modifying the race car and hopefully being ready for the next race.

I went out last evening for a couple hours to look for badgers. Never did see any but there were a lot of whistle pigs out. I didn't take my .22 lr so I shot a few with my .222. When you hit them with a 45 gr. Sierra s.p. doing over 3300 fps there isn't much left to find. One thing for sure, you don't see any of them trying to crawl away after they're shot! Sure was fun doing the disappearing act on them though. LOL B0B
