Hmmm, for some reason the ones I shot didn't stick around for a picture. They just suddenly disappeared Maybe they were camera shy?

I thought I was going to try to skin a couple so I threw some into a plastic bag to do later. After the course of an hour or so walking around I went to put another inside and realized it was one big stinking bloody mess and the weather was getting still warmer. I put them in a badger hole and gave up on that idea.

Well, you've gotta use what you've got at the time! Thinking maybe I might take my .270 next time.

Hey Bob! If you would shoot them in the head with that Cannon you use, you might have "proof" that you actually got some! 72 Camaro, I skinned some yesterday. Your problem is not understanding the skinning process. 1. Use enough gun! Bob over does it but I use my 223 and shoot them head on. 2. Aim a little low, not off the body, just low on it. 3. As the pig catapults through the air, you will see the flesh seperate from the hide and BAM! you have skinned a W pig!!! Simple process, just takes practice. Just a little advice from "Uncle Nick" Have you taught 1/2 Dog (Dogslayers Indian Name) to do this too or are you going to set up shop and show us both? Wow, Idaho should be called the "Show me" State. How are you guys only famous for potatoes?

Just for "the legendary" Nick, I went out today and shot 5 more whistle pigs with my 10/22. A couple maybe's but I only counted the confirmed kills. Or maybe I could count the maybe's as 1/2 whistle pigs? LOL. Self esteem? Right!

By the way, I'll pass on the groupie deal. You only let your groupies shoot 1/2 coyotes! ;D

No, I pass the 1/2 coyotes, only confirmed full coyote kills. This old dog doesn't do tricks, only the real deal! The whistlepigs weren't as active where I went as they were the other day. Lots of hawks and one eagle, maybe that had something to do with it.

Cody and I went out to sight in his rifles today. Had an interesting experience with a crazy eyed drugged out dude that walked up on us from out of the desert.. that was a sketchy situation. Went back to shooting and eventually bagged a couple wee pigs between the two of us.

Are you sure that wasn't just "the legendary" Nick looking for whistle pigs and coyotes? Maybe it's getting to him.

Man, I'm getting pumped to be there in April. Just did my Google Earth map and am ready with a new area not far from where we have been that looks even a bit more infested with the critters.
Am I right in that any dirt road I can drive on in the BMI areas? We usually park from a bit more established dirt road but I can still see it on Google Earth, the one I want to use.
