Hello Everyone, well we had our First IVH BLM Cleanup day. It was great. We had 14 individuals participate. Members of the Club and Non-members alike. They all worked very hard today. I got the preliminary numbers of trash that we picked up.
1st Dumpster Load of tires - weighed in at 4.22 tons with 136 tires in the bin. 2nd Dumpster of tires weighed in at 5.35 tons - no count on tires yet. 3rd Dumpster of trash alone - 2.29 Tons of trash picked up today!
GREAT JOB EVERYONE! I AM PROUD OF YOU ALL!!
The total Tonnage is = 11.86 - Which equals 23,720 pounds of trash picked up. WAY TO GO!! WOW! WOW! WOW!
Can you believe that??? 11.86 tons of trash. And we didn't even get it all. There is a lot more trash out there.
Here are the pictures of the Day! Happy Birthday Mark T. March 30, 2013

Thank You Eric, I tried to open the file you sent, it wouldn't open to get the pictures.
WOW that is a lot of tires, it looks great without them there!
Gary
BTW: It is time for IVH to buy a few trail cameras, and place them in specific locations! Time to catch a bunch of these SOB's dumping on our land!!

Great job on that tire pile. If I'm not mistaken, that looks like the ass end of a boat in that one pic. Unbelievable. Sorry I couldn't stay longer, but it was great to meet some of you. Looking forward to more events, especially the 2nd Annual BLM Clean Up Day next year. Wade

Must say that was quite a day. I am going to remember next time we do this to stay away from Eric though. He was like I know of a place where there are a few tires... 4 hours later and 5 tons of tires we are still picking them up haha but it was well worth it and had a ton of fun! Good job to everyone. I feel like we did a pretty darn good job with 14 of us picking up trash that is about 1700 pounds of trash per person. That is a lot of trash. I say we did awesome!!!

That is the end of a boat, it It was a "b...." to load then unload into the dumpster. It was beside the tire pile, someone had broke it up and dumped it. That was the last thing we loaded into the dumpster and I was glad. I don't think I could have lifted one more piece of paper. Yeah, Cody, I'm with you. The next time Gary calls me and says Eric needs help I think my cell phone is going to suddenlly lose service! I really did enjoy the day though. Bob

I was out there last Wed,. the 10th, and it looks a whole lot better than it did before our clean uo. We did make a difference. But people are already starting to trash it up, saw bottles, cans, paper cups and one target that had been set up and left, nothing big.........yet! I think if we wanted we could clean up the same place weekly. Bob
