Gary mentioned some good info that Id like to pass along for when we do meet for the trash cleanup:
"Remember to bring a shovel and a rake, if you have some big trash bags, bring those also, and a good pair of gloves."
Id add that hunters orange should be worn while were out in the hunting grounds.

Eric,
Lets push it out to the 30th. That way we all have time to plan. And I can contact Gem Co. Landfill and get a dumpster scheduled. You know how the Government is: SLOW!
Eric, I appreciate you trying to give me, and the club the credit, but it is a Club Function that you posted, therefore you get Honorable Mention! I really haven't done anything! I just want to make this happen and be a part of it.
Lets do this and be a visible as possible for others to see us doing it,
so EVERYONE! Please wear your Club Logo Shirts,
so if you talk to people while out there, they know that we are the ones doing the clean up. I will Try to figure out a way to hang the Club Banner out there, so we are recognized.
So lets make this for the Saturday the 30th, and Get It Done!
Thanks Gary BTW: Does someone have a big ice chest that we can use? The Club will buy a bunch of bottles of water to have on hand, so everyone can stay hydrated, and no one gets sick.

Alright, good deal. That way I can make sure I don't have anything planned for that day. Looking forward to it. Bob

It doesn't matter to me I'm not doing anything else that weekend and maybe there won't be many other people out there.

BLM TRASH CLEANUP BARBEQUE!!!
I talked to Loren this morning! He was telling me that he wanted IVH to Host a BBQ Lunch for the workers, during the cleanup.
Hamburgers, & Hotdogs, chips, pop. ***Suggestions Anyone???***
If you all want to bring a side dish (baked beans, chili, mac or potato salad, etc...) or a dessert, to go with lunch, feel free to do so.
Also, Loren told me that he wanted us to schedule a BLM Cleanup for the Fall, South of Boise. So we need to get started on that also.

Gary, Sounds good to me, I'm always in for a -BQ. I think we could do clean up days on any BLM ground just about year 'round.

Mark and I just returned from meeting with my brother-in-law Tim, from The Gem County Landfill. Got the dumpster set up to be delivered to the location on Saturday morning.
Also checking on getting an Outhouse donated for the day, or at least a discounted price.
So, now! all we need are a bunch of people to show up to help. If you have friends or family, contact them and ask them to volunteer a day to a good cause!
BTW: YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE A CLUB MEMBER TO COME OUT AND HELP! THE BLM LANDS BELONGS TO ALL OF US!
I would like to send out a very heart felt "Thank You!" to the Gem Co. Landfill Manager Martin Joyce, Tim Adams, and our County Commissioners for allowing us the use of a dumpster!

Cody, Sounds great. I was going to meet Twinkle and Ed in Emmett at 7am for breakfast before we meet everyone. Being that were both coming from different directions and Im driving the wifes truck to pick up trash it might be easiest to meet and then drive to the cleanup. Its quite possible that I might have a rifle with me for after the cleanup session completes Where is your shop located at? Ice can get spendy
