Yesterday was the last day of our Bobcat season in Co. My calling partner and his son decided to give it "one last try" to call a Bobcat. We made 2 sets after dark. (Work and other things did not allow a day session), first set called in a Badger, (never done that before) no cats. Second set called in 2 fox. Still no kittens, oh well there is always next year. Definitely a good hunt in my book. I have yet to see a fox let alone add one to the stats. What were you using when you called the badger in and how close would guess it got?

Sorry Gatsby, haven't checked the forum til this evening. I had the jackrabbit distress. Funny thing we called for a couple minutes before scanning with the "green" light, he was 20 yards from us and appeared to be coming towards us instead of the call and decoy. When we hit him with the light he stood there for a little while, then he retreated to his hole about 50 yards. Went down about 5 minutes later.

Also today I was out poisoning prairie dogs and I took my .17 hornet shot 3 from about 150 yds. 20 gr vmax did a number on them.
