I spotted this coyote near 1/2 mile away. At 1st I thought it was a white tail deer. Largest coyote I ever seen & I've seen some big ones.

Nice one. Did you end up getting a shot on it or was it too far out?

Camera made it abit dark. Well at 1st I thought it was a wolf. Until it finally sat up & faced my way. Then I could see it was a coyote. A mightly large coyote. I passed on it, I'm after a puma this season. Drove 20+ miles to the North West today. Et found a pr of coyote tracks. One was very large, it's tracks were 3 1/4" long I never seen either of them. Maybe I'll get a glimpse of that large coyote this season?

Large coyote killed early 80s. I didn't weigh him but I est he was in the mid 50s. As he was larger than the 50 lb'er I killed a few yrs earlier. Bro on the left is 6'1" for size reference. Our dog weighed 85 lbs.

Another large coyote. This track is not from the one above. But another large one I ran across a few days ago. I ran across it's (fresh)tracks again this early am. Track is 3.250" long. Hard to say if it is a crossbreed/hybrid or not. I'm thinking it might be? Because of it's track size. I would love to lay eyes on this one. It's mate's tracks are typical in size. Track from it's mate. Drove 80+ miles searching for a fresh puma track today = 0
