Where do you recommend to take ur guns to get work done. I called bucks on overland to see what they would charge to adjust the pull on my trigger for my savage axis and they wanted around 75 to 100 for it at least. That seemed a bit much but I am new to this so maybe that is a really good deal. lol Just wondered who everyone used or recommended. Thanks for any advice!

Check with R&K Gunsmithing in Nampa.
Also check with BlueArms in Horseshoe Bend.
Cody, when you say bucks, do you mean Buckhorn Pawn? I actually think that 75 to 100 is a fairly good deal - I know some places charge 150-175 dollars.

There's a shop in Ontario, Or. called Lock Stock & Barrel. Last I knew he was charging $55.00. Give him a call.

I use benson machinery in Nampa, he threaded 2 barrels and did 2 trigger jobs for $140.00 or so.

John Jones. Retired military and probably the best machinist/gun restoration (blueing, stock work, etc) I've found in the valley. He's the only one I take my guns to. On top of the great work he's extremely reasonable on his prices. He's located right off the freeway in between Nampa and Meridian. He doesn't advertise, word of mouth only. Give him a call 9.8.9-9.5.8.5.
