Worked all night at the railroad Thursday night! Got off about 6:30am Friday, decided to go out to the desert and see and listen if any yotes where singing that morning..they where! So I went to calling after day light.. This was the end result! Two ( 2 ) coyotes in the back of the truck..going to try and down load the pictures. Not sure how to do it though.

All right! Good job on the coyotes. Was that a double or were they from two different stands? What gun, cartridge, and load did you use? E-call or hand call? We have to have all the details. By the way, beans tomorrow at Tom's Cabin if you can make it. Bob

Was using a hand call on the smaller yote..started out with a howl then went to a hurt mouse sound..along with a mojo decoy. The 2nd yote I used a eleltronic call with the mojo. So that would answer how many stands..(lol) Used a Remington 700 ADL with a Nikon Buckmaster scope, Remington factory load shells at 55 grains. Yhe younger coyote came in so fast and hit the mojo then ran off after picking up on the scent, the mouse call stopped him about 175 yards out. And that was all the further I gave him..lol Bigger coyote was coming in but would stop and sit down and just watch for awhlile, then he would come some more..finally he sat down for the last time. My patience had run out.

Thanks for the details, makes the story all the more interesting. I like that Remington 700. .22/250? Sounds like you had a lot of fun. I really like watching those dogs come in. Gets the ol' heart pumping for sure. Excites me just as much as seeing a big buck or bull elk. keep whackin' and stackin' 'em. Bob
