When I was in Idaho, when we moved my son-in-law and daughter to Mountain Home, the son-in-law and I caught some drag racing at one of your tracks. Anybody else race besides me? I just had my fastest time, 10.416 at 132mph last weekend, and it keeps dropping nearly every race. Big Block 489, 1972 Camaro, full cage, tubbed, framed, front end lowered 4" with a 2" spindle drop and 2" body drop, widened the rear wheel wells 5-1/2", reverse th400 with transbrake, line lock and a custom aluminum dash my buddy made that is similar to a real dash but this weighs about 2lbs with no switches and gear in it. Looking through a burnout ahead of me going to the water box: The motor, with belt drive: Inside:

We just visited the Idaho one, I race in Bremerton and Kent, Washington. I think the last race of the season may be next weekend, but I'm not sure. Raining here today anyhow, even if there was a race today.

I race out at firebird every wekeend. I race a black and green dragster that runs in the 7.20 area in the super pro class.

That is fast. Those dragsters can really get moving. I had to work on winterizing my house but a guy named Dallas that runs down there sometimes, usually in Pro, won up here and so did his boss in Super Pro, Dale Green.

I know Dale Green. I think I know Dallas also. I jsut ran in Seattle a few weeks ago. I mainly stay at Firebird except for a few bigger races around. I wish I got to travel more but the money sadly isnt there haha. Seems like all sports are that way.. to many goodies not enough funds. lol

haha the real trick to making money in racing is to take all the money you were going to spend and just put it in the bank. LOL That way you still have it since racing is a put a lot in and get nothing back type of sport lol.

Truth to that. But it is kinda like drugs, drinking, smoking and stuff like that; you can be fine until you dabble in it and then you are hooked all over again. It's easy to quit, I've done it hundreds of times.
