One day last week, the sun was shining and the temperatures in the mid 50's. I decided that I wa tired of being locked up in the house, so I grabbed my rifle, and I drove over to Loren's and kidnapped him for an afternoon of shooting. You know the old saying: "Too much work makes the boy really grumpy, and not nice to be around!"
Here are the pictures of our bounty. This is just an hour's time of shooting. They were plentiful.
You can see here that we are using 22lr Ruger 10/22's. Mine is the one with the camo stock, it is modified, with a Green Mountain Bentz Chamber Target barrel, the action has been polished, the bolt beveled, springs changed, and the stock modified, by opening the barrel channel, the carbine stock knob has been modified. The scope is a Bushnell Banner 3x9x40.
Loren's rifle is a standard model Ruger 10/22 factory, also his 22lr pistol. he is going to start modding his 10/22 with a new barrel, and action work or a Volquartzine action.
