Yes, unless you are on private property and have written permission from the land owner.

Hey Nick, Maybe your reputation preceeds you!! Good job on the three though. We were wondering what happened to you, haven't heard from you in several days. Keep up the good shooting. Bob

Thanks for the heads up on the informaion of needing a hunting lic in Oregon. One more question..how about Nevada..was told that you could hunt coyotes there without a Nevada lic. but you not allowed to pick them up. Does anyone know if this is true? I need to contact FnG maybe.

Yes! You don't need a license in Nevada to "shot" coyotes, but don't pick them up and put them in your truck.
I have a friend that went down there calling coyotes, he shot one, put it the back of his pickup, and was stopped by a county sheriff, he told my friend that it was not legal to pick them up without a Nevada License. The Deputy asked my friend if he was hunting a tournament in the area, my friend told him no, then the Deputy told my friend, to go on, because he too was a coyote hunter. This Deputy was a good guy, but because he was a Native American, he let my friend off with a warning, but you don't know if the next Deputy will be so nice. So be careful!!!
