Mark and I went out today, we called in three, I shot one at 287 yds. Mark got a shot at one at 351 yds. and went just over it's back. All together we saw four, heard some more bark at us. But the best part of the day was right after daybreak when we saw three wolves. They were on private land. One was almost solid black, the top half was black and faded into grey on the bottom half. It and another one stopped broadside and watched us for a few minutes before running over the ridge. That made the day whether we got any coyotes or not. First wolves I've seen in the wild. Gotta get a wolf tag. The smoke was really bad today, you could smell it in the air.

broper: Nice buck ! I haven't got out this year. Season ends Tuesday and we are getting lots of rain and supposed to keep raining through about Thursday. So I probably won't get out this year. Oct 24, 2021 6:46:00 GMT -7
