Sorry to hear that Nick, you do know you have to take the bad with the good. At least you got to see some new country and you learned something about it. Twinkle and I are always looking for new areas to ride the 4-wheelers and see new stuff. If we see any song dogs I will let you know. Try and try again. I like hearing your stories, keep them comeing.

Same thing with us Nick. Gary, Loren, George and I went out yesterday. We made 5 stands and never saw one coyote. We did get some to yodel at us but thats it. I was sure hoping we'd get some. It was a fun day though, enjoyed just getting in the outdoors with good friends. I agree with you about the outlaw sling, it sure is easier to cary your rifle around with it. Bob

It is good to know that we are not the exception to the rule, and had a bad calling day, but, we sure did have a great day of hanging out with good friends.
Maybe next time will be a better calling day. We have to find some new calling country also.
Speaking of Outlaw Slings, George watched Bob and I carry our rifles with ease, and comfort, completely hands free, and worry free. So yesterday as we approached our vehicles on our last stand of the day, George turns to me and says, "Gary, You need to hook me up with one of those Outlaw Slings, they really are the way to carry your rifle!" He reaches into his pocket pulls out $40.00 and hands it to me, for a QR Outlaw Sling. Another person was conveinced by seeing the actual use of the Outlaw Sling while hunting.
Thank You George, Welcome to the TBO Outlaw Crew!

Yep, seeing is believing...one of the guys (won't mention who) took a tumble and from what I saw the rifle stayed in a safe position and no damage (unlike the time last year when I slipped and scored an expensive stock on my rifle....). The longer we hiked the more I could appreciate the stability and freedom that sling provides.

Sorry Nick, Not this time. It was NOT the guy with the intials B.O.S.S. HAHAHAHAHA!!!
It was another person this time. But no superficial wounds, just a face plant in the dust, and a somewhat bruised pride. Dang sagebrush jumped out and grabbed his foot, and down he went.
Back in June, I went out badger hunting with the guys. We shot a badger, and I walked out to look for it, while out there walking around, I remember falling down 3 times, one time my left leg gave out and I fell on my butt (sciatica), the other 2 times I stepped in badger holes, and down I went.

Yeah, I guess the the guy that fell is getting old and feeble or just a plain ol' klutz! ;D. I will say that the Outlaw Sling kept the gun on his back instead of hitting the ground and scratching it up and maybe messing up his scope. Another good reason all serious hunter/shooters should have an Outlaw Sling!
Hey Gary (boss), Should have took a picture of that guy laying on his face in the dirt with his gun safe and sound on his back. Would have been a good asdvertisement for the Outlaw Sling. Another missed oppurtunity!! LOL Bob

It happened so fast, I didn't have time to think of taking a picture. I was more concerned with if he was OK! and not hurt.
I actually heard the rifle barrel smack him in the melon, with a big thump. Sounded like a person thumping a melon actually! LOL
I would hate to poke a guy when he is down, but in this case I would have made the exception. Throw a little insult on top of injury, so to speak! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
Oh Yeah! I had left the camera in the truck anyway! LOL
