Dusty Roads Predator Calls

I just wanted to do a little bragging! Today I received another DR Predator Call - Enclosed reed. This is the second one that I have received for Field Trials.

This is the first Dusty Roads predator call that I received, it is made from Cocobolo. I love the color. And it sounds great, I can't wait till calling season, so I can get out and do my ProStaff job, and call in a bunch of critters.


The call I received today is also an enclosed reed call. It is made from an exotic wood you can no longer get, due to it being made illegal to cut the tree down, due to over harvesting. It is made from Brazilian Rosewood. I love the dark color, with the reddish brown highlights.


I have seen other calls that Dusty Roads has made, and believe me they are all beautiful. Splated Maple, Zebrawood, walnut, burls, etc....

Dusty Roads will not be offering these calls for sale. Although he will be donating calls to the IVH club for raffles, door prizes, and auctions. He has even consented to making a special call for the Northwest Nationals, that we will have lazer engraved.

Stay tuned, as I am able to get pictures I will be posting them here. And when he is ready to turn some of these calls loose, I will be bringing them to the meetings for raffling.

I talked to Dusty Roads yesterday. He told me that he has one ready to send to the August meeting for the raffle. He told me that it is made from laminated wood - it is in Camo colors -

So Make Sure you bring a bunch of cash with you to buy raffle tickets. You could be the lucky winner of a collectable predator call, from a new custom predator calls maker.
