I was on another forum talking about badgers and a guy told me that next season good light colored badgers are supposed to bring $100.00! I'd like to get a few of those.

Don't hold your breath on the badgers and don't hold your breath about Rocky Mtn either.

I have never seen badger pelts that high, even during the hayday of pelt prices, during the 80's.
I wouldn't expect any more than they are paying right now. I actually think that $30.00 to $35.00 for badger pelts is as high as you will or are going to see - anywhere!
So, skin'um, flesh'um, stretch'um, and then sell them, you will get the maximum that they are worth, if they are put up well.
Good Hunting Gary

Badgers fur up very late in the season, like late Jan or Feb, shooting and skinning before without picking and choosing you're skinning for nothing or $2.00 badgers. Idaho doesn't produce quality type dollar badgers. I have fleshed $100 plus badgers and they do stick out greatly.
