This shoot will be held Labor day weekend the 1st,2nd and 3rd of September

There is a campground on the shore of the Salmon river that has some full RV hookups, some roomsin their motel and then dry camping spots for tents and/or campers. on the campground there is showers and restroom facilities. Also in the area there is hotels and other lodging facilities in the area with Riggins, Grangeville and White bird being the closest to the event (be sure to call heather at [phone] to book your room or to have her hook you up with any possible special pricing at other close hotels).

The shoot will be have three courses (2 big and 1small game). For the small game course you will have approximately 15 minutes to shoot all 12 of the targets. The big game course will be split up in half with the amount of targets so barrels can cool and to keep the weather changes fair for the majority, so if there are 14 big game targets we will shoot the first 7 at one firing point and the next 7 targets will be ran on another firing point, this will also keep people more involved with less waiting in between shooting times. These two courses will be color coded so that you know which targets are the ones you need to shoot at ech point. Throughout the day you will have shot both of the big game courses to make up your total score at the end. The time will vary depending on how many people will be shooting, but most likely there will be about 15 minutes to shoot your 7 targets. if there is a large amount of people who show up to shoot we may have two people on the firing line shooting at a time, but with some space between them. Befor beginning the match you will be provided with the ranges of the targets, but you will have to figure out the correction for what ever angle that may be present for each target.

small game: big game (2 courses):
all steel wood frames w/ steel vitals
Ranges 150-550 yards 500-1000 yards


- You will be able to have a partner with you while you are on the line to help with ranging and calling out drop information
- small game calibers .308 caliber and smaller excluding all magnum cartridges.

Thinking that if the match takes all of one day which I am sure it will, then the next day maybe we can take a couple targets and get them set out at some ranges of 1200,1400 and we are thinking of putting up one target at a mile, so people that would like to could try their hand at a mile long shot.For the shooting on Sunday we will charge a $5 entry fee that will be used to award the top shooters on those targets along with some chances to win some gift certificates.
