Gary, went out to where you told us about, tried both sides. We never saw one whistle pig, never fired a shot. There were no recently used mounds/holes. All the mounds we saw had weeds growing from them. Doesn't look like there's been any whistle pig activity around there in quite awhile. Just thought I'd let you know so you wouldn't waste youir time going there. Bob

Hey Bob,
I am sorry! I had not been out there for a few years. But that is really strange, that there are no squirrels out there - that place used to be over run with them - huh!!!
I will have to go out there and check that out myself - that is really hard to believe - not that I don't believe you! Just really strange!! WOW!
I wonder if someone didn't go in there and poison them out???
If I had known I wouldn't have sent you there - I am sorry! Did you go across the freeway at Sand Hollow and shoot out that way??
Thanks for the report Bob. Gary

Gary, don't worry about it, I'm always looking for new spots and was willing to go. We didn't get across the freeway. I never thought they could have been poisoned but that might be. Bob
