IVH Mission Statement:
It is our pleasure to welcome you to the Idaho Varmint Hunters (IVH) Forum.
The Idaho Varmint Hunters (IVH) Club was created due to a need for a member driven organization for Idaho varmint/predator hunters, and encompassing the Northwest United States
Our objective is to offer a message board where varmint hunting related topics can be discussed in a professional and courteous manner, providing a venue where the knowledge of professional and dedicated varmint hunters can exchange ideas, and information freely among like minded members, all within a family oriented atmosphere.
We wish to provide information that will pave the way for the novice and expert varmint hunters in learning new and exciting techniques of game calling, concealment, shooting, fur handling, etc. This goal will be accomplished through the input of many experienced hunters, shooters, and outdoorsmen. Also there are those that are concerned in the education, training, and mentorship of young hunters.
It is our mission to embrace the future of our great hunting heritage, and our right to bear arms (Second Amendment) having inherited these responsibilities of carrying out education, conservation, perseverance, and preservation of our sport in an ethical manner. Through education of today's hunters, our mission is to provide the information necessary for them to carry through on this responsibility.
Our mission is to encourage today's varmint/predator hunters to join alternative organizations within our sport. Organizations like; local, state and national associations and clubs. When you join these organizations, you strengthen our numbers, allowing these organizations to front a stronger battle against those who would cherish taking this great sport from us.
It is our mission to work to unite all outdoorsmen and women. It is our vision to see all sportsmen and women; whether hunters, fishermen, campers, all aspects and genres of the outdoors, to come together in a unified front, to work together in the protection of all our sports and recreations, also the conservation of wildlife, the woods, our waters, and our air. By joining forces, not only hunters, but fishermen, campers, hikers, rafters, even picnickers, will reap the benefit of such collaboration. Together; we will all make a difference in our world!
There will be many legislative battles ahead. These organizations need more from you than just your money. It is essential that we demonstrate in full view of the public who we are and the benefit we are providing our country, and the wildlife that inhabits North America. Please; always keep in mind that you and I are a part of the many devoted outdoorsmen and women that safeguard wildlife and the undomesticated locations in which the wild animals reside.
Our mission is to keep the sport of varmint hunting alive and well, so that we can pass it on to coming generations; by continuing to inform, and educate varmint hunters of any current and impending legislation that may threaten our sport, while suggesting the proper action that hunters can take on such legislation.[/font]
