I joined the IVH just recently. Also joined the Gem County Rod & Gun Club. Retired, live in Hidden Springs just north of Boise and east of Eagle. Have never gone hunting for predators, but am looking forward to it. Would love to get some insight and recommendations from some of you folks who have been at it for quite a while. Past hunting experience is Deer, Elk and Bear.

Welcome to the IVH Club and forums. We are glad to have you here.
Wow! never been predator hunting? We will have to try to remedy that for you. If you come to the meetings, and events, get to know some of the members, then maybe someone will take you with them on some calling stands, and show you the fundamentals of calling predators.
There are a bunch of articles here in the forums, that are good for gleaning some info from. If you want you are free to ask all the questions you want or can think of, I am sure there is someone that can answer them for you.
There is a meeting every second Tuesday of the month. This month it is tomorrow (March 13) evening at 7pm at the Great Wall Chinese Restaurant on Eagle Rd. Come down and introduce yourself, we won't bite (too hard)! LOL Hope to see you there.

How do you tell (or find out) where the Club meetings are held? Last month it was at Fudruckers, this month at Great Wall. Where will it be next month?

We held our February meeting at the Great Wall, that was the first meeting there. The March meeting was there also, the April meeting will be there also.
At the top of the Forums is a New Fader, you will find that kind of info on it. Just watch it, the meeting info is on there.
Normally I send out an email to all of the names on our mailing list, but I was so busy this last month, I completely spaced it off - Sorry!
The meetings will be at the Great Wall Chinese Restaurant at 7pm every second Tuesday of the month - until further notice. But it seems it is going to be a good fit, at the last meeting, it was quiet, and we were able to speak normally, without screaming!
