A Proposal was sumitted to the IVH Admin for discussion and voting of the Member Director Board.
The Proposal consisted of 2 Issues/Proposals.
The first was the addition of new contests in the coming year. These hunts will be 1 and 2 day hunts. Following in suit with the other hunts that IVH Hosts.
PROPOSAL #1
The following proposals are brought forward, due to a vacancy in the IVH Calendar of Events for the next 2 years, due to the Northwest Nationals being hosted in Montana.
The following proposal reflects the need for an increase in smaller contests, due to in part; by interest in such activities by local hunters. Therefore, one and two day tournaments are called for.
These contests can be scheduled for club members, and/or they can be open to the public, such as the ICC. With variations on the hunt such as hand calls only, parent/child, husband/wife, etc…….
It is in my opinion that the IVH Club needs to host hunts such as these in the SW Idaho area. These smaller contests would allow those coyote callers, whom are new to the sport, weekend callers, or non-competitive hunters, an opportunity to test their skills against hunters of their own skill levels. To get their feet wet, so to speak, in smaller, less expensive entry contests.
As the Northwest Nationals are growing and being hosted in Montana for the following 2 years, I propose that we fill the empty slot with local contests or events.
The proposal is to hold several contests & events during the fall, winter, and spring of 2012 & 2013 time frame.
2012:
October 5/6 – 2 day Hunt – Hand Calls Only
November 3 - 1 Day Hunt Open to Public
December 7/8 - 2 Day Hunt Open
January 26 – ICC – 1 Day Hunt
2013:
Same Weekends –
I propose that these hunts be on a 50/50 basis. The purpose of which is to add extra income to the Club’s Bank Account.
I further propose that these hunts be $30.00 per team for one day hunts & $60.00 per team for 2 day hunts.
Proposal #1 was voted on and passed.

Proposal #2
The second proposal is for the IVH Board to appoint a new position within the IVH Club Structure, and to nominate & pass by vote, a person as the Official IVH Photographer.
The Photographer will be responsible for taking photos and/or video during all of the IVH Events, hunts, shows, and any other function that Admin deems IVH will be involved in.
The Photographer will be responsible for getting the photos edited if needed, the Photographer will then uploaded said photos to the club Photobucket account, so that Admin can use them online, or in print matter.
Any and all photos taken by the Club Photographer will be submitted (within a requisite time period) to the Club Webmaster & Club Historian, to be used and/or included in the Club History Book.
All photos taken by the Club Photographer are the expressed personal and private property of the Idaho Varmint Hunters, Inc.
Said photos shall not be used, copied, or disseminated for any purpose, to anyone at anytime, except under written permission of the IVH Administration, under penalty of Law! All photos on camera or camera card, shall be deleted immediately after uploading and sending to Admin.
The formation of the new position was voted on and passed.
Then a Nomination of a person to fill the position was made; Allen Marshall was nominated by Gary Mathews. The Nomination was voted On and Passed.
Respectfully Submitted:
