For me Big game season is over so look out Yotes!

Its been a long season with a trip in Sep. to Wy. for Antelope. It provided 26 Antelope out of a possible 28 for the 7 of us that went. Back in the shop for 3 days of cutting up meat and catching up on the early skull business.
Then bouncing back and forth to the hunting camp for a few days and back home in the shop fro a couple of days to work on heads and Euro mounts. Now I know why most Taxidermist don't hunt. I can't give up hunting big game but I will have a better plan for next year. My deer season ended with a good Muley and nothing for Elk. Poor year for our area for the Elk. Most camps pulled out before the end of the first weekend.
I got my entry sent to Gary for the NWCCC for next week and now it is Yote, Yote, Yote. Calls are tuned and plenty of ammo. My calling partner and I will be spending the next few days scouting and talking to our normal ranchers for the yote population.
