Team TBO ProStaff Brendan & I went calling yesterday. We called this gal, she came into the call about 4 mins in, I saw her at about 80 yards coming through the sage, but was coming straight at me, so I waited for her to turn and I let her have it at 40 yards with the 22-250. Bang Flop!!!! I had the shotgun lying right next to me, but I already had the rifle up and ready, so instead of making the switch, I just shot. We worked hard to get this one dog, we made 12 stands, we had hunters bust 3-4 stands, and on our first stand of the morning, we had dogs coming, when a rancher with a livestock trailer drives up, stops, roles his window down and yells, "I am going that way!" I motioned to him, "OK!" and picked up and left! Nevertheless! They are all memories! Moreover! Any day in the field is better than sitting at home. I always would rather be hunting or driving in the desert looking for critters. Speaking of critters - we saw a bunch of antalope, some deer, lots of birds, and bugs. Get out there and start calling. Yeah it is hard work, but it is completely satisfying when you call one into your stand. Kind a like on the videos. Good Hunting, and let us all know how you do on your next hunt. Gary
