Although this article is focused on the Eastern portion of the US. The tactics can be adapted to be used for the Western Forests.
In the West, I don't know many people that actually utilize the Forest for calling coyotes, due to the fact that we have so much open sage land, in fact the Forests are jampacked with coyotes - This article will help you figure out a strategy for working the Forest dwellers.
