Saturday May 8, 2010.
I had time to spend a few hours in the afternoon/evening to go and shoot whistlepigs.
The weather was sunny, warm, but the wind was blowing. Although it was windy, the whistlepigs were out in force.
I shot squirrels until I couldn't load my rifle magazine any longer. And I shot a brick and a half of 22lr shells, now I have to go buy more rounds.
It was a good time, I went by myself, I took time to sit and think about business, I know I do alot of that in the first place, but it is different when you are not in the shop, where it is quiet, no phones, no internet, no people, just you and the wind, and little furry critters - makes for a good Board Meeting!
As the sun went down close to the horizon, the temperature began to drop, and all of a sudden the squirrels were gone, so it was time to head for the house; to clean the dirty rifle, and get ready for the next time I can slink off to do what I enjoy.
God Bless & Happy Hunting! Gary
