How many here have purchased or are going to purchase a wolf tag for the fall 2011 season?

I will be going down next week to get my tag. This will be an Idaho hunt of a lifetime. Kenny

I am by the end of the month, when I put in for the controlled hunts, I hope anyone hunting this year has one in their pocket. $12.50 is a small price to pay to have a chance at one

I believe that all hunters/sportsman should purchase one of these tags if for no other reason but to support the IFGD. They have spent a huge amount of money on this worthless predator in the court systems. Once again they will be given the hunters in Idaho an opportunity to at least, let the wolf population know what it is like to be the hunted and not just the hunter. One hunting season will not correct the wolf population but it may have an impact if we continue to have wolf hunting seasons. This predator will now be pursued for the reasons of sport and a challenge in hunting. As with coyote's they will educate very fast so shoot true and apologize to no one!

Is there any guidance in the Fish and Game book yet about wolves? I looked through and couldn't find anything... Whats the season? Is there a quota limit or a certain number of tags available?

Fish & Game will probably not have any regs or guidelines on wolf hunting season until the August or September F&G Meeting. At which time they will publish their decision.
And if it is going to be a yearly season, they will have it in the Regulations Booklet or Online the following year, or they will publish a seperate booklet.
