Well it was another great river trip. The water was great, weather was good and the company was fantastic. The river was clean and cold and at a flow to give us some good white water and covered up some of the huge rocks that in the past we have had to oar around. I still managed to create a little carnage on two rattle snakes that ended up wrapped in foil, butter and a little garlic. These served a the appetizers to the Antelope back straps wrapped in bacon, Merrel mushrooms and fresh baked french bread. Dutch oven cooking is great! Here are a few pic's of our 2011 trip. Third year running and all ready planning next years. First night camp sight, fresh bear tracks in the mud. A little fast water Second camp site. Last morning breakfast. Pink champagne and quiche. It's a tradition!!!!!

Hey Cuz, I'm bettin' that the boat in the first picture, closest to the camera is yours.... I see there is the top of a bottle of "whitewater smoother" handy to the oarsman in the pouch of the front seat.
What class whitewater is on tht trip?

We normally take more gear than we need to, but one of the high points is the cooking and eating.
