A looooOOOOOong ways from you, Kenny. You'd have to sell your house to pay for gas getting here  I haven't killed a Red in quite afew yrs. They were about extinct around here for quite a few yrs. I'd hunt well over 2000 miles of gravel roads, just to spot one. Fortunately their making a strong comeback. Most of the coyote hunters in my area. Give the Reds a free pass, good on them. Which helps their pop, no doubt. Your right about the killing. I've learned more by watching coyotes & Reds, than I ever did by killing them. I've killed my share of both, back in my prime. Reckon I prefer to observe rather than kill anymore. Must be getting old, eh. I'll be posting a boatload of pics in the following two months or so. After that, it'll be hit & miss. As they grow wary of my presense. |

So a long ways away eh? lol must be in another country or back east? Either way, keep up the photos, I know everyone enjoys them even if they don't respond. I know I really appreciate them.
I went ATV riding Saturday on the West side of West Mountain, had a great ride with awesome views. We saw near a 1000 elk (their winter range) and hundreds of mule deer, even some some wolf tracks but never spotted him.
I love Idaho, we have it all except all the people and liberals.

Yup still waiting for an opening at the mall  , Gary. All is well here, good you enjoy the pics. Dang pups aren't cooperating as of late. Weather has been mighty irratic. Sunny, 80deg one day. A few days later rain then frost. Looks good today, we'll see? Seeing pups get moved was a 1st for me. Let alone having my camera with me. Apparently the stars were aligned? |
