Out here in West Washington, I have had pretty good luck with a Mojo-Critter decoy. I use the original brown strips that comes with it when using small animal distress and a feather attachment I made when using a bird sound. What do folks out there use and with what kind of success.

Hey Randy,
When I get a Mojo-Critter, would you make one of those? That thing looks like it would attract a wookalar!!!!

Well, I am impressed. We participated in the first Gray's Harbor Outdoor Expo and we were the only hunting group there. That was not what amazed me it was the attachment for the Mojo I made. It was the hit of the show. People were asking where I got it. I could have sold a dozen or so. It actually works cool. I will get a video of it next time and post it up. Crow open here in October for the field test... I am excited ! !

I use the plain old Mojo Critter. I do change up as to placing it in a tall sage brush and also tipping it into the breeze to get a more radical whip to it. Great looking feathers. I hunt in and around a lot of upland game birds and I will be trying your style later this summer.
Thanks for sharing your decoy.
