I am looking for a do-it-yourself kit to como my TC .223 barrel / forarm and scope I use for preds. I have seen one someplace but for the life of me, can not remember. Anyone got any clues...

I googled rifle camouflage kits, there are a bunch of them, you will have to go and look them over, until you find one that make your cheeks sqweak.

I made my own templates and painted my rifle with krylon or something like it! It works out pretty well.
I looked for camo patterns on the net, printed them out on a full sheet of paper, then cut out different parts on several sheets, then transfered that shape to a stiff paper, cut it out with a razor blade, and used that as a spray template.

If you want a good looking camo job for not a lot of money, I just lightly sand the stock. Then take blue painter tape and tear off the straight edges so it looks "organinc" (rather than geometric) & tape it off like a zebra or tiger pattern. Then Krylon OD green paint. Then I just break up the green with tan stripes. Peal off the tape before 24 hours when it gets really hard & can chip...
