Well the big day finally came after 25yrs of dreaming of one day being able to own my own Contender I finally pulled the trigger on this dandy. Back in December the Mrs. said I could get it if I could keep the cost under a grand and after doing a bunch of research decided that I would have Fred and his crew at Bullberry Barrel Works build me a G2 Contender. It is a 22WMR Match with a 15" bull barrel a standard pistol grip and a custom 10" forend. I topped it with a 6hole bullberry base Burris Signature Zee rings and a Swift Premier 2X6 32mm scope. It's a bit heavy but for what I want it for whistlepigs, tree rats, and other small varmits it should be perfect. I already have a BogPod tripod that will be lights out for shooting whistlepigs all day so now all I need is someone to front me a plane ticket money back to Idaho so I can break her in. If I wasn't headed to Okinawa in June you can rest assured that I would be there for the tournament. Good luck everyone and I hope to see you all next year. Let me know what you think Rick
