Just a word of advice after an unsuccessful coyote classic day of hunting. Don't call in an area with wolf sign. Couldn't even get the coyotes to howl, and there was a lot of fresh coyote sign in the area I was in.

I was up around Sweet. Thought I had a honey hole, left the area alone for a couple months before the coyote classic hunt since there were so many in there.. Which they are still there.. But the wolves are keeping em from movin as far as we could figure.. Wish I would've seen one of those big cousins of the Coyote.

I hunt Sweet often. Last time i saw a coydog, I fired up my FoxPro with a distressed rabbit call. The dog stopped, sat down, and looked my direction for a minute or so. Then it got up and slowly walked the other way. Nothing I did made it pay any attention after that.
