Gary and I went out this morning on our way to Tom's Cabin, we got three more badgers. Shot all three of them with my Ruger American .223 and 40 gr. V-Max bullets. That makes eight between us this year. Forgot my camera. Seems like they're making a come back. Gary took a couple pictures with his phone. The one I'm holding is the first one, the other one is the third. There was so many badger holes and a new crop of weeds that we couldn't find the second one.   |

Good for you guys. Me and the wife are working on our second rental in a row. This one the gal was mad at the neighbor, super nice lady, so I told her she could break the lease and move, I'd had enough and she had 9 HOA violations and the rental is a condo. About half the doors have holes, she had mass people living there and a dog and smoked in the place, nearly all of them evidently smoked but was supposed to be only her and teenage daughter and no animals and no smoking. Lots of damage and took 3900lbs of trash to the dump yesterday. I'll probably have to rehang all new doors as the ones they put holes in are not made anymore, stopped making them in April of this year, and she destroyed the fridge and skipped out on rent since our knucklehead governor said they did not have to pay during covid.

Yeah, we're trying to have fun. Badgers are about the only varmint hunting there is right now. At least in this area. The whistle pigs have all gone down for now. Might possibly run across the odd coyote while we're out and about. Waiting for fall to get into hunting and calling them. To bad about the mess and all the work you have to deal with. That's why I never got into rentals. I've seen that happen to many times. Hope you find a better renter next time.

Thanks. I'm sure we will get better renters as it could only get better from that last one. Just rented another place we got and they look really good and he is in the military. Always has been good if they are in the military.
