I'm usually trying to head down that way about mid May. You guys open for business? I have to check Montana too to see if they are open for shooting and going to farms and such. Here in Washington they have essentially shut down fishing and shooting of any sort, even gun ranges.

No restrictions seen here in SW Idaho. I was out on BLM land Thursday afternoon and there were all kinds of people out pluggin' piggies. It's one of the few things we can still do to get out and stretch you legs and hone your skills. If the state were to shut this down along with range access, that would be really... crappy.

BLM is open to shooting. Gary and I have been out a few times shooting whistle pigs. We had to close down our meetings until all this bad stuff is over. But we can get out shooting and still maintain social distancing. We saw a few others out there but not real close to us. We always go out during the week so there's not a lot of others out.

Well that's good to know. My partner in crime for shooting them is back to being able to go since his schooling for one of the Federal classes he has to take has been postponed but sounds like he is a bit iffy thinking virus is lurking at the motel we stayed at and would be staying again for about 3 days. I'm good with it and think all will be fine so I'll have to see if I can talk him off the cliff. With all this going on I haven't even made any semblance of getting anything ready. Will probably have to bring guns dirty as I don't think I'll have time to clean and get them dialed in again. Some take about 25 shots, some 1 or 2. Our ranges are closed at least till May 4th in Washington. We have a real piece of work for a governor that hates Trump so he will usually do the opposite of whatever Trump wants. Trump actually called him a snake. Actually very fitting.

I think you'll be ok. Just be cautious and extra clean. Have you checked to see if the motel is actually opened for business? Our governor extended the stay at home order today until April 30th.

Have not checked anything. I'll be talking with my son-in-law this weekend and I'm hoping we can get our schedule straight and where we are going. We haven't checked our Montana contacts yet either. Usually we have it all set in stone by now.
