I've looked around and cant find a post or chat for guys looking to meet up with other hunters and/or find a new hunting buddy. If such a thread exists, please direct me there...if not, lets start one.
I'm in the Twin Falls area and am constantly struggling to find guys to hunt with.
My perfect man is....
Be Honest - Nobody wants to hang out with or hunt with a guy they don't trust.
Be Ethical - If the law says you can't, DON'T. Just because no one is there to stop you doesn't mean its OK to break the law! (and as much as we hate them, FENCES MATTER!)
Be on Time - Coyotes don't wait for your alarm and I don't either...
Be Serious - I love hunting and I take it seriously. I ask that my hunting partner does as well.
Have Fun - At the end of the day, I'm looking to have an enjoyable day in nature and harvest some coyotes (or whatever I'm hunting)...
Share the burden - I usually prefer to drive, but don't have to. However, when I don't, I always offer to cover fuel...
If you feel you are a good match, lets hook up. I have a FoxPro Shockwave and a plethora of hand and mouth calls. I'm always looking to improve my setups, my calling, my approaches, etc. and I welcome the opportunity to met and learn from guys who can help me in any of these!
