The Northwest Nationals went off without a hitch other than it was tough hunting and calling coyotes! As the teams returned we could see that calling was really tough, then we began talking to the teams and getting their stories for the 2 days. and as we surmised it ws not an easy 2 days!
We had 5 teams register for the hunt! All returned except one team that called in and said they would not be coming into weigh in, they stated that they had only seen 2 coyotes and werenot able to get a poke at either of them!
$ teams returned with a total of 19 coyotes:
1st Place went to Avery & Mike with 6 Coyotes 2nd Place went to Lance & Jake with 5 coyotes 3rd Place went to Chris & KC with 5 coyotes
The tie for 2nd and 3rd was broken by the heaviest of the 2 teams coyotes!
Dinner was Catered by Lilly from Tom's Cabin Cafe! She prepared a great dinner! We had Beef Stroganoff with her famous Green Beans, Green Salad, Cheesy Bread Sticks. OH MAN it was Heavenly Devine!! We held the tournament at the Sand Hollow Community Hall in Sand Hollow Idaho. Great building for what we needed it for! We hope to be able to use it again next year!!
Our next tournament will be the Christmas Songdog Challenge on December 13-14 at Don Burch's Shop on KCID Rd.More info to come!!

72camaro: We are still planning on being in Idaho 2 days, either Sunday and Monday 8th and 9th, or Thursday and Friday the 12th and 13th. Still watching weather between you and Montana to figure best route. Don't like it so short but we will take what we can get.
