Getting ready to make our annual pilgrimage over to the freedom state. Once we get out of Wa and into Idaho it feels like a weights been lifted from a guys shoulders!
Leaving Monday after Easter, staying the week. Warm up the barrels on the varmint rifles on some ground squirrels. Hope the weather cooperates for us!

It's always good to get out and shoot a few ground squirrels. We had our annual Idaho Varmint Hunters club members only ground squirrel shoot yesterday. We met out in the hills about 8:00 a.m. then scattered out and shot all morning. We gathered again about noon to grill burgers and hot dogs then went and shot some more in the afternoon. It was a beautiful day, lots of sunshine, no wind and in the high 60's with out lots of squirrels to shoot. It was a very fun day. Hope you enjoy your trip and find lots of ground squirrels to shoot. Let us know how you do.

Sparky 508, I'm with you. Still trying to get my wife to move out of Washington as there are a bunch of anti-gun bills that are getting closer to be signed every day and you need to write your congressmen about them. We will be leaving the land of the not-so-free and heading to Idaho and Montana, not sure which order yet as it will depend on the weather, but shoot some ground squirrels and prairie dogs. Can hardly wait.
Could not get any links to work but HB 1465, shb 1739 (they are all bad but this is one of the worst), HB 1786, shb 1225, ssb 5027, sb 5181, and SB 5205.
Please contact your legislatures and tell them to vote no.

Been on it like white on rice, Camaro. Writing and calling and shaking their tree.

Good. Many do not and just wish it would stop but do nothing about it.

I've contacted the representatives here in Idaho about a few bills. The anti's tried to get the red flag law passed here. Luckily it was voted down. Bloomberg was pushing it. I'm sure they'll try again.

Just heard the bill 1739 passed and I believe is ready to be signed into law. Will make you a felon I believe if they catch you making a gun out of the 80%'rs. If not mistaken if you have them and already built they are grandfathered in but you have to keep them at home and if the police find you have them out of your home they can confiscate. Lots and lots of people build guns, AR's and Glocks are a standard of the industry and there is not epidemic of people that build non serial numbered guns being a menace to society. They want your guns registered. Cannot take them if they do not know where they are and the 80% builds make them crazy. We are already in the Red Flag zone but they are trying to make it even easier than before to enact on anyone they would like.

Yes they are getting bad in the two states, Washington and Oregon. Makes a person want to move to Idaho or Montana.
