this guy had been digging up my pasture for a while, and was getting quite brave and coming up around my barn and yard so I started taking evening strolls through my pasture keeping an eye out. finally caught him the other night just before dark.

20-25 yards with my .22WMR. right through the right eye. dropped where he stood.

23 pounds and roughly 3 feet long...

Would have been a good one to have mounted. I haven't got one over about 15 lbs. this year. I got one Wednesday morning that was about 12 lbs.

broper: Nice buck ! I haven't got out this year. Season ends Tuesday and we are getting lots of rain and supposed to keep raining through about Thursday. So I probably won't get out this year. Oct 24, 2021 6:46:00 GMT -7
