Just wanted to say I'm glad I found this forum. Moved to Caldwell a little over a year ago. Retired and getting back in to varmiting. Started varmiting at 16yrs old with a 22 lr then bought a 220 Swift. That kicked off the reloading and seeking the perfect loads. 33 yrs later I'm glad to see a group that enjoys it as much as I do. Hope to meet a few people that have some free time to hunt and exchange some stories.

Welcome to the forum. Always glad to meet a fellow varmint/predator hunter. You should think about attending one of our meetings and meeting a bunch of other varmint hunters.

Where abouts did you move here from?! Depends how far back you want to go. Born in Newport Beach in the 60's moved north to a little town called Arroyo Grande. Stayed there for 46 yrs, bought a house In Caldwell a couple years ago, been here since. Caldwell is huge compared to where I lived. 17k people when I left. The funny thing is everyone asks where you from.

Our next meeting would be a good one. A biologist from F&G is going to be there and talk to us about ground squirrels and the plague in them. You are always welcome at any of our meetings.
