New to the forum, but kicked off the season today with 3 dogs in the bag. 3 for 3 with the setups that had a dog come in guess the snow helped a little. Can't wait to start reading the tips and stories the forum members post. Happy hunting and good luck. Sorry use apple crap so cant compress photo to download. Just imagine 3 coyotes with a r15 laid across them.

Welcome to the forums. Good job on the dogs. Did you use an e-call or hand calls? Where are you located? If your in the Treasure Valley you might think about coming to our meeting. Next one is Dec. 13th, 7:00 p.m. at the Sunrise Café in Middleton. It's nothing fancy or formal, just a bunch of varmint hunters getting together.

I used a handheld on two of them and a foxpro on the one batteries went dead two minutes into the setup but thats all it took. Located in mountain home retired from the military so all i do now days is living the dream of hunting and fishing. As of now its shed antler hunting and a little predator control. Would really like to sell the skins but being RMFC isn't buying hides unless dried and stretched this year at least i can help the local game population.

We use e-calls and hand calls both. Sometimes at the same time. Last one I shot came in to a fox pro e-call. We get over close to Mountain Home when calling once in awhile. I don't know of anybody in the Treasure Valley area that is buying coyotes in the round. There's an out fit over in Burns, Ore that will buy them but that's a long way to take them, don't know if it would pay or not. Wish I was set up to skin and put them up. Keep shooting them though, every one you put down saves a few more fawns or calves for the ranchers. When I first saw your screen name I thought maybe you were using a 45/70 on them, lol.
