The wife has other ideas, rats

I spent quite a bit of time hunting for deer and elk this year. Not very fruitful for a change but still spent a lot of time. I had planned on getting back to waterfowl for December but for Christmas I have been indentured to build 3 play dress cabinets. That does not fit into hunting very well and to get them done and painted by Christmas I'm going to try and build them today, she said she would worry about painting but I know how that goes so that will probably be next weekend. We bought material last night, except for paint.

I've gone bird hunting one time and we got skunked as nothing showed up. Been the hardest hunting year I've ever had, as well as our floating duck blind we worked on during the summer got a hole in one of the barrels that made it float and while trying to change it while it was floating they sunk it. lol

Oh well, there will be next year.

Boy, you have had tough luck. Have you ever thought of taking up something less stressful? Maybe knitting?
