I'm thinking of building a .219 Zipper on a 1999 Savage or having it built rather. Talked to a gunsmith, he told me to buy a Pac Nor barrel and a stock from Boyd's then bring it all to him. I've always liked the different and unusual, something that everyone else doesn't have. Should have ballistics very near .223.

Should work good. Have a look at Richards micro stocks. Good price and great quality. I just put one on my Interarms Mark X.It run right at $200.

How are you Chuck? Haven't seen/heard from you in awhile. I'll check that out, I was just going with Mid-Star recommended.

Interesting but the one thing I've tried to do is make sure whatever I'm shooting is supported. My step brother has some odd 9mm that is barely supported and he can barely find ammo. Hate to see a cool gun with no ammo to shoot.

Yeah, .219 Zipper ammo can be kind of hard to come by. I already have some loaded ammo and empty brass and it's pretty easy to make out of .30/30 brass. I've got dies too. Slowly trying to get everything I need together.
