I had a questioned I was wondering if someone on here can answer, out in pleasant valley where they have the no rifle or pistol zones and only let you shoot shotguns, I was wondering if they allow air rifles in that area.?

tgomez82,
I don't think that Law Enforcement will see the air rifle as anything but a rifle! If you are going to shoot in the Birds of Pray area, you best be doing it with a shotgun! Better safe than sorry!

Yeah, kinda what I was thinking. It's another one of those grey areas. The F & G regs and laws are full of them. It seems that depending on what officer or F & G employee you ask, they all have a little different interpretation. That's probably how you question would turn out if you tried to ask the authorities. You can't get a definite answer. So, better to be safe and just don't use them out there. By the way, I have seen people 50 yds inside the signed area shooting rifles at targets. CAN THEY READ OR WHAT?

Yes, human kind are basically a bunch of slobs. Gary and I have seen all kinds of that out in our roaming around. Once way out in the desert a big pile of carpet, padding, tack strip. Had to be a carpet layer that dumped it out there. It needs to be picked up.

I believe it after seeing the efforts yourself and Gary make to clean up what you can I've made it a point to haul some trash off in my pickup every time I head out to do some shooting. I just dump it all here at my apartment complex haha unless it's tires I take them to my buddies tire shop

Good for you. I just bought a new supply of 30 gal. trash bags to keep with me. It's possible to spend more time picking up trash than shooting and hunting.

That's not a bad idea I will have to go pick up some heavy duty trash bags to keep with me also this way I don't have to pull my camper shell off and sweep my bed out after every trip

Yeah, I've got a camper shell too. Makes it kinda unhandy for hauling trash. If everybody would pick up a bag or two every time they went out it would help.
