Gary has a Ruger 77, old tang safety model in 6 m/m Rem. that he calls the "Terminator". He's really got it dialed in, shooting 75 gr. Hornady HP's. It really puts the smack down on badgers and it just ruins a jack rabbits whole day. He's getting anxious to terminate a coyote with it.

We went out with George today. Only saw one Badger but Gary put it down with the "Terminator"! Number 14 for Gary this season.

We didn't get out as much this year. Things just didn't come together for one reason or another. The few times I did get out there didn't seem to be as many out and about.

Gary and I went out Thursday morning for a few hours. It was a fizzle, dead, dead, dead. We didn't see a single thing to shoot at. Guess the varminting is over until coyote season starts.
