The ol' varmint,(aka Gary) and I went a badgering this morning. Gary shot one at about 200 yds. with his .22/250 but somehow it managed to get in the hole before we could get to it. Thought about digging it out but we decided not to mess with it. We went a little farther and saw one on my side. I took the shot and smacked it. It was a big old boar, I thought about 30 lbs., Gary said about 25 lbs. I've got to remember to take my scale so we can weigh them. Got him right through the head from ear to ear. 110 yds., 40 gr. Varmageddon again. Then Gary got three jack rabbits and I got one. We got about six whistle pigs between us. They were all over the place but we were concentrating on br'er badger today. We had lots of fun, enjoyable morning. As soon as my computer geek friend (aka Gary) gets to it he'll post pictures. Bob's big ol' br'er badger! This badger laying on the ground in front of me looked like a linebacker football player, his head and neck were huge! I got 3 Jack Rabbits with my 22-250 Remington - 52 gr Sierra Match HP Man that 218 Bee plain blows stuff up. Another blown up victim of the 218 Bee! Bob ran across this predator out there in the sagebrush - A Big Black Widow Spider!
