I've become a bit, small bit, of a trigger snob and on my AR I went with the Timney 3.5lb. It is nice but for some reason is not as nice as the one they make for the Remington 700, just seems different though the pull is as advertised.
That being said, I had another AR and a bunch of stock parts and springs and tried a method on the internet and would say it is close to the Timney and all it took was a little time to adjust and trim springs and I used a bunch of graphite to make things run a bit smoother and it really is a fine trigger now, and I got the Timney originally because I didn't like it.

Currently have a hyperfire 24c intalled in my AR with 2 lb. Pull....gotta say i like it. A LOT
This trigger is easily adjusted to 3.5 or 4lbs by simply changing provided springs.
