I went out yesterday for a few hours to check out some new property I just got access to.
I took some calls, my Savage, my 15 month old Catahoula "Coy" and headed out.
I made a couple calling stands and had this good sized male show up on the second stand of the evening. This male came in to some howls from my cow horn howler, saw Coy and the game was on! Coy decoyed the coyote back and forth for awihle and when the coyote came in to 50yds I let the .243 do the job...coyote down!
I ended up running out of day light after this coyote, but I have plans to be back soon:).
