Just moved here a few months ago. Love the freedom of living in Idaho. I want to get back into hunting. Varmints have always been the most fun!! I shoot a .223. I built a gun that I've always wanted. I used a Ruger M77 action, a ER Shaw fluted SS 24" barrel on a Boyd thumbhole stock. I haven't shot it yet. It's being floated as I post this. I'm not very good when it comes to computors, so I hope this works. Would love to hear from, or even meet like minded people. I love shootng trap, but had to sell mine for the wife's doctor bills. Love to hear back. God Bless the USA!!!!!

Hey 223huntsman, Welcome to the forum. that sounds like a nice varmint gun you built. Just in time to shoot some rock chucks. Should be a good coyote getter too. You should think about coming to one of our meetings and getting acquainted, good way to meet and visit with some other varmint hunters. We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. We also meet every Wednesday, 11:00 a.m. at Tom's Cabin in Emmett for lunch and socializing. Come on out if you can. We're always glad meet other varmint hunters.

Welcome aboard. Where did you moved from? I too love shooting 223. I have a Rem 700 223, nothing fancy. Love reloading them to!
