I'm looking for some work to do for the next 3 weeks and Fridays + weekends after that. I'm trying to make some money to get a scope on my AR and get some more ammo for hunting and truck parts... my ol 85 ford f250 wont pass emissions and the part the mechanic said I might need runs from 250-500! I start school in 3 weeks and was planning on hunting all of it, ended up selling my .17 HMR with my last scope and got my AR15! My friend gave me a red dot he bought. turns out its for crossbows and it doesn't really work on the AR. Anyways, I can only hunt with my shotgun as of right now until I get a scope for my AR Let me know if you have any work to do, I learn quick if I don't know how to do it. Thanks in advance, Luke

You are talking about another of my favorite topics besides guns, being a productive citizen.
You need to sell yourself. If you are confident about your abilities and know what they are, sell them to someone that can use it. Don't BS them and be a straight shooter. If you learn quick, be ready to prove it.
I can tell you what I did when I needed work, I called and told a guy that I would work for him for free for a day, and if he liked what he seen he would need to pay me and hire me, if not, I'd work for free that day and move on. I was hired after the first day and stayed with him for 5 years until I got another offer that eventually worked out not long after to be a foreman and down the line a superintendent for the entire company and it all started by offering to work for free.
It is up to you on how you work.

When out of work, don't wait for it to come to you, go out and find it. I'll tell you my cousin is a farmer for a guys and makes good money, but he is the top dog. He started out spreading lime and working on equipment. I run a company installing suspended ceilings. Another friend I went to school with is a superintendent for a construction company. Figure what you like to do and head that direction and if you want to soar with eagles don't hang with turkeys.
