RESULTS of the 2016 ICC

Well it is over for another year! The 2016 ICC was a tough hunt according to the teams! Speaking of teams, We had a really good turnout for the Tournament - 16 Teams participated! That is 2 more teams than we had for the NORTHWEST NATIONALS!
The conditions were tough, snow, melting snow, mud, and fog, were some of the factors that were causing problems for hunters! But the 2 toughest factors involved in this hunt was the fact that it is tough to call coyotes in December and January, and the fact that coyotes have been called all winter and the pups of the year have been called and killed or educated! really tough time of year to call coyotes! Good Job Everyone for bringing coyotes in!
Dr. Carter Andrews (DVM) was on hand to inspect the coyotes, he does a great job for IVH and our tournaments! We would like to give him a huge hand for his outstanding work! There was a total of 24 coyotes brought in by 12 teams, we had 4 teams that did not come back to check-in!

Big Male: Team 2 - Chance & Rusty - 33.2#
Big Female: Team 5 - Chris & KC - 26.0#
Little Male: Team 5 - Chris & KC - 19.4#
Little Female: Team 2 - Chance & Rusty - 18.8#
The Idaho State Champions are:
1st Place - Team 2 Chance Rowley & Rusty Gamble - 4 coyotes
2nd Place - Team 10 Zach Owens & Trevor Todd - 3 coyotes
3rd Place - Team 14 Avery Betty & Chez Medina - 2 Coyotes
2nd Place was a tie with 4 teams with 2 coyotes, the team with the earliest time check in was the winner of the tie!
3rd Place was a 3 way tie, again the team with the earliest check in time was the winner!
